When Brad announced his plans to marry Frannie, the love of his life, nearly everyone was thrilled—except his mother. Her disapproval stemmed from Frannie's humble family background, a sharp contrast to the wealthy circles Brad’s family inhabited.
The thought of Frannie’s parents showing up in modest attire, surrounded by their well-heeled guests, horrified her. She devised a plan to keep them out of sight on the wedding day.
As Frannie’s parents arrived at the grand Wellington estate, where the wedding was set in the garden, they were intercepted by a sharply dressed security guard. "Mrs. Wellington warned me about some... undesirable folks trying to sneak in,” he said, sizing them up. “I'm following her direct instructions."
"Undesirable?" Mrs. Heckles exclaimed, shocked. "What do you mean by that?"
The guard shot a cold look. "If you don’t get it, I’m not explaining. Back to the trailer park you crawled out from!"
Stunned, Mr. Heckle spoke up, "We’re the bride's parents! We’re here for our daughter’s wedding.”
"Sorry, sir," the guard replied curtly. “There’s a dress code, and I was told to turn away anyone who doesn’t meet it.”
Tears filled Mrs. Heckle’s eyes as Mr. Heckle put an arm around her, leading her away from the wedding. Just then, Brad’s father arrived. "What’s going on here?" he asked.👇
