Email the hotels and ask them to provide access! 🏝️EVERYONE: follow @jabbemjabbem and join them to organise around this issue (wherever you are in the world you can send them a message to offer to join their work!) 🏝️JAMAICANS: contact your MP and put pressure on them to support repealing and replacing the Beach Control Act of 1956 AND show up to the court house on 17th February (more info on @jabbemjabbem ) 🏝️HOTELS: provide easements for locals to access the beaches! Pay your workers living wages! In Barbados and Antigua ALL beaches are publicly accessible - as they should be! Our brief walk through Tivoli Gardens was powerful—even with the rain cutting our visit short, the impact of the murals was undeniable. Each mural brought color, pride, and a sense of transformation to the community. Seeing how the art captures the heart of Tivoli Gardens, it’s easy to understand why this project means so much.
