As Senior VP at Bank of America, Matt keeps a packed schedule. Yet, he has always found time to champion causes that matter, from leading MS bike ride teams to supporting STEM education for kids through Out Teach.

Today, Matt is pouring his heart into , an incredible organization that has been supporting the Atlanta community for over 100 years. We sat down with him for "Five Questions" to talk about his career, his passion for service, and why HOPE Atlanta’s mission hits so close to home.

Dancing with a purpose! 💃✨ The 2026 Dancing Stars of Atlanta Gala officially made history, raising over $2.6 million to support families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia across Georgia. 💜

From grueling rehearsals to a spectacular one-night competition, our 11 local Star dancers poured their hearts and souls into this mission. Special shoutout to our mirror ball trophy winners Shelly Justice, Alex Palmer Roman, and Desmond Humphrey for lighting up the scoreboard and the fundraising charts!

Hosted by Tracy Wilson Mourning at the chic Serafina in Downtown Miami, the annual Honey Shine HATS OFF Luncheon brought together a stunning crowd in their finest statement hats. Most importantly, the event successfully raised funds to send 150 "Honey Bugs" to Camp Honey Shine an all-inclusive, six-week summer immersion camp empowering young girls with everything from robotics and swimming to college prep and therapy.

Empowered girls empower the world. 💛

The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta | “Doing the Most Good” Gala

Atlanta’s business and community leaders came together for an inspiring evening to support The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta’s 3rd Annual Doing the Most Good Gala.

This year’s event took place in a piece of Atlanta history, The Foundry at Puritan Mill. The night highlighted the impact The Salvation Army has had on the unhoused in our community and looked to the future, celebrating the expansion of the downtown Atlanta shelter and its rebranding to the Center of Hope.

The expansion will allow The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta to serve more people and includes an addition of an Education & Workforce Development Center.

Guests enjoyed a social hour with silent auction followed by a plated dinner, program, and music and dancing. Proceeds will support the Center of Hope and other programs and services provided by The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta.

Ian’s Friends Foundation | Evening of Inspiration Gala

Ian’s Friends Foundation hosted the 18th annual Evening of Inspiration Gala at the InterContinental Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. The theme of the evening was masquerade and the talented Cirque du Soleil performers kept the theme exciting, intriguing, and entertaining. The generosity of guests, sponsors and donors helped to raise $1.4 million for pediatric brain cancer research last year.

Toast of Atlanta, hosted by the Junior League of Atlanta, is the organization’s premiere fundraising celebration of its members’ collective impact. Most recently held at The Carlyle with a vibrant Mardi Gras theme, the evening brought together Junior League members alongside community leaders and supporters for an unforgettable night of purpose and connection.

Guests enjoyed an elegant seated dinner, a curated silent auction, and a lively late-night celebration—all designed to foster engagement and philanthropy. Proceeds from the event support the Junior League of Atlanta’s community partners and initiatives, advancing programs that empower women, strengthen children and families, and address critical needs across the Atlanta community.
