🤣 so I rushed back 5 minutes before close. Saw a woman contemplating but she ultimately declined. So I swooped him up and struggled to the register because this boi is HEAVY solid concrete. A young couple at the register were freaking out saying they almost got it and happy to see someone did. Then all the employees came out saying they just put it out today and had bets how long it would last 🙌

I was taking out my trash and a lady was walking by carrying these tables. I told her that I thought they were really cute and she asked if I wanted them! I feel sooo lucky. These were not gotten at a thrift store or anywhere. I was literally taking out the trash and a random person who was throwing them away gave them to me.

I found this signed glass bowl in a thrift store in Columbus, Ohio yesterday. I liked it because of the colors and it looked handmade; I didn’t realize it was signed until I took the price tag off. It looks to me like the signature might say “Adam Koon 2003”, but I could be wrong.
Edit: I probably was wrong; it’s most likely Adam Kaser based on comments.

These are Stanley faux bamboo nightstands that I was fortunate to snag for $20 each back in May. Right place at the right time. First of all it was a challenge to remove the factory finish. Even though it looked like it was down to bare wood it was sticky for weeks. I worked on stripping these pieces for months and sat these in my garage while I stressed over a paint color. I am a neutral / safe paint color lover and the idea was to flip these beautiful high end pieces so I wanted to make sure they were marketable. These have been painted 4 different colors along with a glaze at one point that I just could not get the bamboo to take consistently. The end result is a custom color 50/50 Cashmere and Blue Pine. Mixed it until I achieved the color I was looking for trying to match the Serena & Lily coastal blue. Slightly darker result but still love it. In the end, after staging in my daughter’s room, I simply cannot bear to sell them. They look too good. Love the fact that you can paint and mix FMP over and over and still end up with a beautiful finish for us ever so indecisive perfectionists.

Not weird, but absolutley WONDERFUL!! My daughter is leaving for Wyoming today, so she had Thanksgiving yesterday. I saw a sign for a yard sale on my way over to her house and after we ate, I asked her if she wanted to go look. It was right around the corner from her house. I got the two Fenton bowls, Fenton Salt and Pepper shakers all for $10.00. We went into the house to see the stuff in there, and sitting on the floor was the lamp. I asked how much and he said $5.00!! I couldn't get it fast enough. It is a vintage Fenton, Amber Poppy Gone with the Wind lamp!!
