My HIGH SCHOOL CRUSH AND I MET YEARS LATER. HE INVITED ME ON A RESTAURANT DATE BUT WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PAY THE BILL, I WAS SPEECHLESS.
So, in high school, I was this quiet, nerdy girl who was always in the library. I had a huge crush on Jason, the popular, handsome guy who didn't even know I existed.
Years later, I've totally changed — no more glasses or braces, and I'm a rockstar in my career. One day, I'm picking avocados at the store and hear, "Emma? Is that you?" I turn and see Jason, looking as good as ever. He's shocked and says I look amazing.
We chat for a bit, and I tell him about my job and how I just moved back to town.
As we're about to say goodbye, he suddenly asks, "Hey, do you want to grab dinner sometime? You know, catch up properly?"
My brain is screaming, "YES!" IT’S JASON! ASKING ME OUT! Of course, I say yes.
A few days later, we meet at this fancy restaurant downtown. I'm super impressed with his choice — it's really elegant. We sit down, order, and start talking about old times.
When it's time for dessert, I excuse myself to go to the restroom. And imagine this, I come back and see Jason reaching into his pocket and putting something on my plate! My eyes GO WIDE AND MY HEART SKIPS A BEAT as I suddenly understood what it was! ⬇️

I RETURNED HOME AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO FIND MY BABY'S ROOM REPAINTED BLACK — MY MIL REGRETTED THIS BIG TIME.
I just gave birth to my baby girl, Amelia, two weeks ago. My husband, Tim, and I had been excited for months, and we created the perfect nursery — soft pink walls, white furniture, cute animals, the works. I couldn't wait to bring our daughter home after a difficult C-section.
Well, that excitement died the second I opened the nursery door. MY HEART STOPPED.
The room was DESTROYED. The walls were black, the entire room was also covered with ugly black patches, the baby clothes, toys — everything — GONE. I stood there holding Amelia, totally stunned. "What the hell is this?" I asked, shaking.
