Married in our 20’s because we knew what we had built through our 20s decade was ready to take that ultimate step of marriage forever… So in ours 20s we cherished the titles of “husband & wife”… And since this day 4 years ago, now in our 30s, we cherish the titles of “mom & dad” as well 🖤

14 years ago as FRIENDS ONLY freshman year of college, we both woulda laughed in disbelief if someone would have said, “y’all will be married, with a dog, living in DT Miami, with a baby on the way!” 😂 Wow, God knew who we would be to each other back when He started crafting this story of us back in 2009 when we met, we just had NO CLUE YET!

Often overlooked - Acceptance… of course you accept your partner when you first get together during that puppy love stage in Year 1 or 2… but will you accept their ways 10, 20, 30 years down the line? You have to be confident that you can accept the differences your partner might have. There is always room for conversation to meet in a happy middle ground place… and if there are differences or things you can’t accept about your partner, then in the long run, challenges around those unaccepted areas may become a reoccurring issue
