From an early age, Whilly felt a deep connection to God that set him apart. While his peers embraced the carefree allure of adolescence, Whilly experienced an inner pull—a profound sense of accountability to live a life that honored God. This unique devotion wasn’t always understood by others, but it shaped his path in life. His parents often recall how his journey with faith began at birth, a moment that they see as nothing short of miraculous. Born with severe complications that led to emergency intubation and an extended stay in the ICU, doctors warned that Whilly might not survive. Yet, against all odds, and through the prayers of family and clergy, he did. This was just the beginning of a life marked by God’s intervention. As a teenager, Whilly survived a stingray attack that severed an artery and, later, a near-drowning incident while scuba diving in a freshwater cavern, where he found himself entangled and unable to resurface. In that moment, ready to accept his fate, he felt the presence of God save him once again. These transformative experiences revealed to Whilly that his survival was no coincidence—it was part of God’s divine plan for his life. Rooted in a mission of faith and service, Whilly is dedicated to doing good deeds and inspiring others to walk with Jesus. As an ordained minister, he strives to bless lives during their most meaningful moments.
