When I went to visit Carlos and Crystal in September, Carlos had wanted to ride along side the train on the other side of the tracks. But we had missed the window of time and got stuck waiting for it 😅 Still fun to watch the train go by though! Glad we didn’t have to wait terribly long however. I hate sitting on a bike on a hot day waiting for trains 😂 How about you?! Do you enjoy watching the trains go by?

During Lindsay’s visit we went to a dirt road. She took off. Dirt and gravel are definitely where she shines. 🏁I had fun in the back, I took a slower pace. Enjoyed the view and tried not to look too closely at the high cliff on my left. 😅

Also, really enjoying the new Black Comanche boots and that tread from @indieridge ! And the power sport gloves are great for this hot humid heat we’ve been having lately! Nice and breathable 🖤🙌🏻😁 As soon as I got these boots, I could feel the difference in this tread when my feet touched the ground! I love it 😁 And the grip is kickstart approved 🙌🏻

Everyone has something they love. Or multiple “somethings” they love. Maybe it’s family, maybe it’s a pet, maybe it’s riding. Perhaps it’s all the above… or none of the above.
But when you get to do that thing or that “something” you love, your battery recharges.
I think that is what most people like about riding. It is “something” you can love that allows you to embrace your thoughts and refuel your battery. Life is beautiful but it can also be draining. And sometimes we need a little recharge to keep going.

When I worked at a dealership, I would often walk around to look at the bikes. 👀But that was it, I would look and then scramble back into my office to work. So today, we went window shopping. And it was fun! I sat on all the adventure bikes - that I would never fit on. 😅 And checked out the apparel at the dealer.
Window shopping at a dealer is dangerous though… often you find yourself at the register getting something you “need.”
On this visit. I ended up leaving with a jacket. 🤗 Although…. I could argue I did need a jacket as up until now I’ve been riding in Florida, where it’s def different riding gear 🩴 than Virginia

As promised, here is a brief “review” of the new Triumph Speed 400! I test rode this bike at Americade recently and the demo did not go as planned. There was a bad motorcycle accident on our demo route and we all had to turn around and head back. I still keep thinking about whoever was involved and I hope they are OK 🫶🏻🖤🏍️

While it’s extremely difficult to summarize a bike in such a short time, I hope this will help give you an idea about the bike! It’s really hard for someone of my average height to find a bike I can easily touch the ground on which is not a cruiser, so I appreciated how approachable and easy to manage this bike is. It’s good at highway speeds and easy to turn around. The clutch however - I would test ride the bike for yourself and if you dislike it like as I did, get it adjusted. It had almost no feeling until the last second which led to a lot of lurching for me at first and made it difficult to do low speed maneuvers without feeling like I might stall the bike. I prefer a clutch with a wider friction zone. But again, that is my personal preference. You might like the clutch like that! It’s a super stylish little bike and was fun to test ride! Also - you literally cannot beat the price point and I applaud Triumph for making a bike that is more accessible 🏍️🙌🏻👏🏻
