It’s been a beautiful fall so far!! Lindsay has been in vermont exploring the colors 🍂🍁 and I’ve been watching the leaves in Virginia. 🍃 it’s been gorgeous! When you ride and the leaves start falling around you on the bike it kinda leaves you breathless . Lindsay and I are looking forward to soaking up every moment of this brief time before all the leaves drop from the trees

And I love my jersey from ! I’ve always had motocross jerseys that are neon colors and make you look like a stop sign. It’s nice to have a jersey that’s stylish without the intense colors

Throw back photo to when Lindsay and I did a group ride with some friends in Florida. We found this vintage bike at a restaurant in the keys. The weather was perfect that day and sun was going strong. It’s hard to believe I once lived somewhere so hot. Today I was bundled up like a polar bear in my house in Virginia. Hat, scarf, big winter coat. And tonight we even got the fireplace going. Fall is coming fast! And winter will be here faster.

This week a bucket list dream checked off when I visited Galapagos , Ecuador. 🐢 What a beautiful place! I took a zillion photos of nature and wildlife. But before we got onto the ship, we explored a bit. I took some pics of the motorcycles around town. I asked about all the bikes I saw everywhere and I was surprised to hear your not allowed to bring a motorcycle to galapagos…. As you can see in the photos, that rule is clearly taken with a gain of salt. 😂

Autumn foliage in Vermont is an experience. I’ve lived most of my life in New England and look forward to Autumn every year. In Vermont especially, it’s a brief window of time and it varies every year. This past weekend, we had family visiting and we went up over the mountains - I took my Himmy and, as usual, nearly cried at how beautiful it was. It’s an experience- riding a motorcycle through a mountain tunnel of foliage. I didn’t have time for lots of photos (planning to go back soon!) But I stopped in this same spot as last year to get a few pics. And it looked totally different this year! The sun was lighting up the hill behind me and I decided to play with that shadow I sat in and just be a silhouette against the colors 🍂🍁🍂 I always thought driving the roads during foliage was magical, but riding them on my bike takes it to a whole other level of an experience.
That being said, we went from summer to Autumn extremely fast this year and I’m already freezing riding on my bike in these temperatures 🙃😂 Time to pull out the heated gloves soon.

When Lindsay came to visit we rode bikes a lot. But we also laughed a ton and had some fun taking different kinds of photos. I told Lindsay I thought it would be fun to do some hand balancing photos in my boots. She said sure! So we took a few pics at the lake.

It was def trickier to balance with Moto shoes on but we got some fun pics. If you’re into yoga or inversions (motorcyclists can be yogis too!!!)….. you’ll recognize in one photo I did a handstand scorpion and the other a traditional straight handstand. 😂😂

What other hobbies do you have? Outside of motorcycles I love my doggies, gardening, art, and yoga. And of course, my family. ❤️

Talkin’ at the Texaco 😜✌🏻🏍️ When I was visiting Crystal in Virginia, we rode by this vintage Texaco station on our way to a coffee shop and we had to go back and stop for a few phone photos! I so wish I’d taken out my camera to do a proper Photoshoot, but we had miles to cover. So I’m glad we at least stopped for these shots! I just love old gas stations - I always love to stop at them and see the old gas pumps! These were old enough to still have the “contains lead” sticker on the pump ⛽️ Very old school Americana and a part of the historical landscape. Now this station is a real estate office, but I love that they left the gas pumps in tact! Do love old gas stations?!

Small photo dump from my Virginia trip to visit Crystal! 🖤🖤🖤 I had such a wonderful time! Just got home yesterday!! Wanted to extend a huge thank you to Crystal and Carlos for having me and taking me on so many amazing Rides! And also, I want to give a huge shoutout to my friends for servicing my bike before I left! I had a bent rim and they went above and beyond to make sure my bike was ready to ride in VA! They also lowered my bike a bit to make it easier for me on uneven ground 🖤🫶🏻 Also, huge shoutout to - I tested out a new pair boots on my trip! As did Crystal - the Walker boot! I’m obsessed with them! They are my new favorites and I’m not even exaggerating 🤘🏻They are very much my style 🤩🤙🏻✌🏻🖤👏🏻 Lots of riding footage and photos to come from this trip! But first I need to unpack my bags and get caught up on the gram and with work 😅😅😅 Also, the foliage is starting in Vermont already - I’m preparing mentally for some rather intense content weeks and riding ahead in Vermont! This is our brief magical season that I look forward to! I’m not going to think about what’s coming next yet 😆😅🤙🏻🫶🏻✌🏻

Are the leaves changing where you live?!

Lindsay came to visit this weekend! It’s been nonstop riding and
photography - it’s been such a blast! Today we rode up the Blue Ridge
Parkway and went to a little BBQ joint. My husband has been very
supportive and took the day off to show us all the best places to
ride. Afterwards we visited the curvy roads and Lindsay got to test
out some twisty turns on her Himmy.

When we have not been on our bikes, Lindsay and I have been talking
about bikes, our dogs, or photography. It’s been so nice to share my
passion with another female rider. Sadly, the week is flying by. But
we’re making the most of it. And I’m looking forward to visiting her
in Vermont someday.

Lindsay has arrived!! We’ve been excited for her to visit my new state (Virginia). It’s been a whirlwind so far. She arrived yesterday afternoon and within 30 minutes, we hopped on the bikes and we were exploring the parkway. We stopped at a lake and a few overlooks on the parkway. And we even found a nice camp fire which we borrowed for a few minutes.

Today we’re going to visit natural bridge in Virginia. We’ll be hiking our moto gear down the trail to see the bridge. More pics to come ⛰️

Enjoying a beautiful moment on a late summer evening - while also reminding myself I better NOT drop my bike on this road 😅 Literally no one around for miles - just the bears and the deer and lots of bugs 😆😁😅 Also, I am super excited because one week from today I will be in Virginia riding with Crystal! 🙌🏻😁 SO much to do before I go! Yesterday I was at the dealership getting my bike looked over for my trip 😁😁😁 Tomorrow I get the trailer registered to tow it down because I gotta bring a TON of stuff for content and it won’t all fit on my bike 😅 Though I’m super happy about my new bag to put my camera gear in while I ride! It came with a super fun OneThrottle patch (check out stories)! Their bags have keep my gear dry when I’ve gotten caught in the rain riding! I’m so excited to finally get to ride again with Crystal though! Stay tuned for the trip next week 😜😁🙌🏻 What are your plans coming up?! I’m trying to keep up with everyone 🖤

If you venture off the beaten path, you can find the most magical places. This little wooden spot had the tallest trees, and I could hear the cicadas signing away around me. 🌲 I even spotted a large deer in the distance. Everyone rides for a different reason. Personally, I’ve never done motorcycle riding for the feeling of adrenaline. Rather, I’ve always done it, because it calms me and helps me see clearly what we should value and truly appreciate.

I moved to Virginia two months ago. But since I’ve arrived, I’ve been in full house remodel mode. Today I decided to take out my dirt bike. She is pretty old and has had alot of abuse on the track. I knew it was unlikely she would kickstart but I had a small glimmer of hope. I kicked and kicked and kicked until my leg might fall off. Each time thinking “this kick will be the winner.” Sadly, that was not the case. We’ll get it sorted out and hopefully she’ll get to cruise thru these mountains soon.,
How many kicks would you do to get a bike started?

There is something special about combining a nice bike ride with nature. It’s a very quiet experience. No noise, no calls, no social media, no obligations (for the moment). Riding into the wildness on your bike is the perfect way to just be in the moment. As cliche as it may sound… ☺️

Today I also got to try out my adventure pants from . I have always worn jeans on the street but since we have so many deer, I want to be more protected in case a deer causes me to go down. These pants also have knee protection.

I wish I was still here - in that moment 🖤 After being without my bike for 3 weeks as she awaited repair, I enjoyed a long ride home Friday afternoon and evening with Stevie (my Himalayan). I kept making turns, not sure which way I wanted to take home, but in the end I opted to ride down to the edge of Lake Champlain and just enjoy the sun moving across the horizon. It was hazy, hot and beautiful ☺️ You could not really see the Adirondack mountains clearly in the background as I had hoped, but that’s okay. I know they are there and the sunlight playing on the water was delightful 😁 I also enjoyed the smiles I got from people going by as I took photos with my bike in the middle of this beach road 😅 Can summer not just last forever?! I hear people already talking about Fall content and I’m like, no. Not yet 😆😁😅

This past weekend was special. My parents came to visit. I explored my new state with my family. And me, my dad, and my spouse did 3 days of riding. We managed to put in 18 hours of riding, over 500 miles. We explored everywhere together. My dad also let me ride his Triumph Street Triple. It felt nice to be on a speed bike again as most of my street bikes are low cc. The brakes on the triumph are very responsive and my dad also added an after market exhaust which made it sound like you were on a rocket ship. I’m looking forward to more weekends like this.

I got my first street bike when I was 17. I got it the same time I got my drivers license. I’ll never forget the feeling of getting that bike. Because I still get that same feeling every time I get another bike. 🤗Recently, I added this Kawasaki KLX 300SM to my little Moto collection and that feeling was def relived.

Also, incase you’re curious, my first motorcycle was a kawasaki eliminator 125. I only had that bike for a month and then we sold it to a motorcycle training school. That was a nice little bike to learn on.

Just a few pics to show off my new Engine Guards ☺️😆🫶🏻 So happy to have these on my Himmy so I have more piece of mind going on rough roads! I especially like that extra little foot rest 😂😂😂 Also, how have I not tried two braids before?! Definitely the best way to do long hair with a helmet 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Hope you are all enjoying your weekend! It’s raining, AGAIN here. But the week ahead looks like great weather for our big American holiday and celebration 😁🇺🇸✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

Ive always wanted an adventure bike. After I started following on YouTube, I knew I wanted to get either an adventure bike or dual sport. So I began my journey to find the perfect off-road/on-road moto.

My research on adventure bikes is long winded, so I’ll skip to the end and say the fact I even found an adventure bike for short people is a miracle. The bike that won this research study was the BMW GS650. Sadly, bmw no longer makes it. 🥺 So I’m going to be treating this bike like gold for as long as I can keep her running. ⭐️

On a mission to ride through every covered Bridge that’s open to traffic in Vermont on my bike 😁 So far we’ve gone through three 😂 I read there are over 100 😮 Though not all of them are open to traffic. Better get the list going! This one is called the Cooley Covered Bridge and was built in 1849. It seems cute and quaint, and it is, but was extremely busy! We saw a tow truck and had at least 50 cars and bikes go through while I stopped for photos. And there is another covered bridge just past it. Did not get photos at that one, but I rode through it, of course! And I just found another one I’m super excited to ride to as well. They are literally scattered all over the state of Vermont, so hopefully you all can help me check off my list 😁😁😁 Are you interested in seeing the covered bridges?!

Hey guys! I thought I would give a little intro to myself and a briefly jump into my riding history. 🏍️ I am the other half of Onethrottle, I don’t post as much, but you will be hearing alot more from me now. 💪

To keep it short, I have known Lindsay two decades. Infact we were roomies in college! When I met Lindsay I was an active road racer. I would spend my week studying for college and my weekends either coaching at a track day or road racing. For those who are in that scene, I primarily raced in the USGPRU 125 2-stroke class and did CCS races on the east coast (I raced a Yamaha R6 and my 125 two-stroke). I also did MiniGP races on my super Moto, trail riding on a Honda 150R, and flat tracking to spice it up. 😅😅 (When you love riding, you love riding). I did that for about ten years, my family was my pit crew and it was truly the best time of my life. ❣️

Motorcycles was my life. And in reality, it never stopped being my life. 😅 Because after a decade of road racing up north, I moved to Florida 🌴 where I transitioned to motocross and eventually fell into the role of managing a motocross track for a couple years. Than (as if that wasn’t enough “moto”), I became part owner of a motorcycle dealer in south Florida. We started the dealer in 2015 (from my garage) and we slowly obtained an inventory of about 200 bikes. My main job at the dealer was financing. And that is where Onethrottle came in! (I’ll post about that story in another post 🤗).

Have I lost you yet? If not, my story is nearly done.

I recently moved on from the dealer (1 week ago!) and made a major life change by moving to Virginia. I’m excited to join Lindsay and jump onto this community! It’s my main objective to encourage other riders (particularly women) that they can participate in this hobby. So…. hello everyone! 🙋🏼‍♀️

(And I apologize in advance for the quality of my photos. I’m not a great photographer and I’ll be lucky if I don’t chop off my head in all the photos 😅😅😅)

Take me to the Place I Love 😁🖤🙌🏻🏍️🫶🏻 Drop a comment with your favorite local spot below! ✌🏻This is one of my favorite places to ride to locally and enjoy the mountain views and a winding mountain road up to this lookout spot!

Also, I wanted to write out an in depth review about my “The Apache” motorcycle boots! I’ve been testing them out now for a couple weeks and I’m pretty sure I’ve ridden close to 400 miles wearing them on a variety of bikes in that time - including my Honda and Royal Enfield, as well as test riding other bikes on two different demo days wearing them. I really love them! Not only are they absolutely stunning boots, they are beautifully made and offer protective ankle caps, composite toe caps and are crush resistant to keep your feet protected while riding! I just think they are amazing looking too - are they not a sexy boot? I sure think so! As for the fit, I ordered my normal women’s size and they immediately fit like a glove right out of the box. I have wider feet, so I really appreciated the fit, as finding boots that fit my feet well can be tough. They ARE stiff when you first wear them (brand new leather after all) and that took me some days getting used to. But now that I’ve broken them in, they are super comfortable and the grip is VERY good. Did you see my kickstart reel? I also get the feeling that IndieRidge really wants to create an amazing boot for riders and I love that they appreciate and ask for honest feedback! They truly stand behind their products. For me, so far, I am excited to keep wearing these and if you have any other questions about them, please feel free to ask! Also, I think they are having a Father’s Day sale right now, if you sign up for their emails (hint, hint), so head on over to their website to check that out!!

That glorious sunshine ☀️ Which do you prefer?! Black and white or color?! I need to find more green lanes to romp on here - they are a whole other level of fun on the Honda 😆😂🤩🙌🏻 The thing I love about Ginger is she’s happy on all terrains. I just have to pull tall blades of grass out of the wheels after 😆
