The group, which is made up by the Inffinito Nucleo of Art and Culture, Inffinito Eventos e Produções (Brazil) and the Inffinito Art & Cultyural Foundation (USA), maintains its goal to promote and diffuse Bra

zilian cultural production. Its 25 years of experience which have made the group recognized by being innovative, strong, dynamic and creative, capable of consolidating the image of Brazil in new markets. The Inffinito Festival Circuit is an established brand that has been working for more than 20 years in partnership with the Brazilian Government for the promotion of Brazil’s potential abroad. It is through the production of Brazilian film festivals in the international market that we create a permanent showcase that increases Brazil’s visibility. We use culture as a tool for the promotion of products, services, tourism and for the development of new business. The Inffinito Festival Circuit is part of the official calendar of the cities of Canudos, New York, Vancouver, Miami, London, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Madrid and Barcelona. In all, 87 editions of the festival have already reached an audience of around 2 million people. Inffinito produces films in various formats: shorts, medium and features, as well as productions for television. On the list are: the documentary Smoking, I Wait (2009) by Adriana L. Dutra; Smoking, I Wait- the Series (a television series that stemmed from the documentary of the same name that just went on air on Canal Brasil for five episodes); Pioneers a documentary by Viviane B. Spinelli and Dulce Bressane (2008) and Caravan MT: Concerts for Peace in Transit (2008) by Viviane B. Inffinito is also responsible for the realization of several cultural events such as Verão do Morro, Conexão Samba, Redecard Conexão Brasil- Gincana Cultural, ABC of National Cinema and many more.

Our Story

Founded in 1995, Inffinito, headed by Directors and Founders Adriana L. Dutra, Claudia Dutra, and Viviane B. Spinelli, is a dynamic and creative company, focused on the fine art of exposing Brazil’s strong artistic profile to international markets. Comprised of Inffinito Núcleo de Arte e Cultura, Inffinito Eventos e Produções (Brazil) and Inffinito Art & Cultural Foundation (US), the Inffinito organization strives to promote and diffuse Brazilian cultural productions both in Brazil and abroad.

The Brazilian Film Festival of Miami is Inffinito's main project created in 1997 when Brazilian cinema was undergoing a transition period from a long era of creative and production bareness to the awakening of a new generation of film making that promised to reach beyond Latin American borders. Its first edition at the University of Miami’s Bill Cosford Theater achieved local recognition. Its second edition in 1998 the Festival was included in the City of Miami Beach’s official calendar with the support of VCA and the Alliance for Media Arts as a fiscal sponsor for the construction of the first on the sands outdoor movie screening in Miami Beach (behind Cadillac Hotel). The "Cinema on the Beach" launched an innovative way of screening for the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami and has become a historic landmark of the City of Miami Beach. In 2001 the Marketplace was introduced to the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami including debates and panels focusing in films distribution, co-production and commercialization with renowned professionals from the Brazilian and International film industry. In 2003 Inffinito produced the 1st Brazilian Film Festival of New York.

Tree years later, in 2006, Inffinito launched the Cine Fest Brasil-Barcelona, consolidating the Inffinito Festival Circuit. Between 2008 - 2014, Inffinito hosted festivals in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Canudos (Brazil), Miami and New York (USA), London (UK), Vancouver (Canada), Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), Milan, Fascati and Rome (Italy), Montevideo (Uruguay) and Bogota (Colombia).

Over the past twenty three years, the Inffinito Festival Circuit had more than a million spectators within its 80 editions in 12 cities of 9 countries with 842 film screenings and 62 international concerts. Our pioneer festival, Brazilian Film Festival of Miami is celebrating the 23rd edition in September. The festival is considered by the film community the most important and first one dedicated exclusively to Brazilian cinema abroad.
