Human remains have been found "several hundred of yards" from the home of a Reedsville man suspected in a Maryland missing persons case.
Brandon Holbrook, 47 of Reedsville, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and first-degree assault earlier this week.
While there will remain a large police presence in the Reedsville area, there is no threat to the public in Reedsville as the lone suspect is already in custody.

On Saturday, August 19 Pocono Downs held the $300,000 Earl Beal Jr Memorial Trot in honor of longtime Lewistown resident Earl Beal Jr.
Up Your Deo won the $300,000 final in 1:52:3 or trainer/driver Ake Svanstedt who co-owns the son of Walner along with Suleyman Yuksel Stables Inc, Deo Volente Farms, and Van Camp Trotting Corp.
The $200,000 Consolation I was won by Black Magic and David Miller in 1:52:4. Steve Cross trained the winner for owners Richard Gutnick, Thomas Pontonem, and Joseph Lozito Jr.
The $100,000 Consolation II was won by Little Expensive and driver Andy Miller in 1:53:4. Julie Miller trains for the Andy Miller Stable Inc, Daniel Plouffe, and Jean Goehlen.
