RED, a division of Sony Music Entertainment and headquartered in New York City, is widely recognized as the industry leader in music distribution and artist development. RED specializes in Sales, Marketing, Radio Promotion, and Product Development for more than 60 independent record labels. Brutal Records was originally formed in 1987 by Michael R Howard Sr and was a metal label that spawned releases by Incubus, Barium, Prophets of Doom, Deliverance, Decrepid, and others. In a partnership with Metalworks & AVM in UK. In early 2000, Brutal Records was dissolved. In late 2016, Howard Sr has resurrected the label into a new entity called Brutal Records & Risky Music in order to bring back the same quality and high standard of music and career artists.
