🎉 Exciting News from the 2024 State Fair Video Contest! 🎉

Congratulations to TEAM 7 on winning with their outstanding 60-second video showcasing Flat Big Tex’s ultimate “Fun” Fair Day adventure shot at our Mesquite ISD Advanced Audio/Video Production Field trip a couple of weeks ago! 🏆 The competition was fierce, and the creativity on display was incredible, but TEAM 7’s unique take on “24 Days of Fun” wowed the State Fair of Texas Public Relations staff judges!

This year, we received an incredible donation from our neighbors across the hall, FM — a brand-new Whisper Room sound isolation enclosure! 🙌

This amazing addition will allow our class to record high-quality voiceovers for news packages and films🎬. The soundproof space ensures clear, professional-grade audio, making our productions even better!

🎥🎬 **Exciting Day for Mesquite ISD’s Advanced Audio/Video Production Students at the State Fair of Texas!** 🎡🎢

Yesterday, our talented students had the incredible opportunity to take part in a one-of-a-kind experience, thanks to the State Fair of Texas Public Relations team! 🎥 Armed with SFOT media badges, they teamed up to compete in a video contest judged by the fair’s PR staff.

Their challenge? Create a 60-second video that includes the iconic line, "24 days of fun," featuring at least 3 attractions from the fair—plus a special appearance by paper Big Tex! 🗣️🎡

After planning, shooting, and editing on-site, the winning video will earn State Fair-themed prizes! Stay tuned for updates and highlights from this unforgettable field trip experience. Good luck to all our amazing teams! 🎉 Mesquite ISD Career & Technical Education
