ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Greg Moutafis is a Haverhill artist who works in a variety of media including cartooning, illustration, painting, and graphic design. He developed an early passion for reading and drawing, immersed in the vibrant comic book scene and pop culture of the 1970s. Since entering comics publishing with a Xeric Foundation Award for Indie Comic Artists, Greg has illustrated projects for a diverse group of publishers, agencies, and schools, in addition to years of commissioned work for private collectors. His current comics release is the miniseries Boom!Squad, written by another Haverhill native, writer/educator David Crouse (Professor: Bradford College, Depauw University, University of Wasington. Author: The Man Back There - short stories, Dark Horse Book of the Dead). Greg is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He is active in a number of cultural groups including the Boston Comics Roundtable, The Haverhill Art Market series, Greater Haverhill and Newburyport Art Association. ART ON DISPLAY:
