On Sale Friday at Noon ET: Enjoy The Ride Records, in conjunction with Paramount Music, proudly presents the 45th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Star Trek: The Motion Picture - The Director’s Edition, Music Composed and Conducted by Jerry Goldsmith.

Jerry Goldsmith’s iconic score to the 1979 film has been restored, remixed, and mastered from the first-generation multi-track masters by Bruce Botnick (the original album’s Executive Producer and Goldsmith’s long-time engineer). Mike Matessino co-produced the album with Botnick, handling the restoration, editing, and track assembly.

With over 80 minutes of music, the 45th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition is pressed on 2xLP 140g colored vinyl and housed in a Rainbow Foil Laminated Gatefold Jacket with black poly-lined inner sleeves, with a double-sided full-color insert nestled inside. The pressing is limited to 1,000 copies across five beautiful themed color variants.

Happy Thursday! We just listed extra copies of Sonic The Hedgehog Gold Ring Filled now that all pre-orders have been fulfilled and arrived. These will be shipping later next week, as we have more Pretending I’m A Superman orders to finish packing. More good news: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 9 Album Bundles have begun shipping as well! There are still some bundles left in the shop for those who are interested. If you are looking to purchase individual copies of the last 5 albums in the pressing, they will go on sale next Friday, November 15 at Noon ET (the last 5 albums in the series are each limited to 300 copies) with another special release we can’t wait to share with you!

This is the first officially licensed compilation of songs used in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game series, which includes iconic tracks from across the game series including “Superman” by Goldfinger, “No Cigar” by Millencolin, “Black Ball” by The Offspring, along with other tracks by The Vandals, Bad Religion, U.S. Bombs, Guttermouth, Adolescents, The Bouncing Souls and more! Cover art by Garreth Gibson pays homage to the classic Tony Hawk Pro Skater cover and the release includes a full-color double-sided insert, which shows rarely-seen concept art sketches that formed the game series we know and love.

Pretending I’m a Superman: The Tony Hawk Video Game Story Inspired Soundtrack is pressed on 140-gram colored vinyl & remastered for the format by Dave Marino.

Pre-orders open Friday at 11 AM ET for the Limited Edition Filled Variant for Pretending I’m a Superman: The Tony Hawk Video Game Story Inspired Soundtrack. The record is filled with the letters S,K,A,T,E, Secret Tapes, and Sand!

These are a pre-order, and the anticipated turn-around time for production is 12-16 weeks, plus shipment to ETR HQ, so we are anticipating shipping these late February/Early March 2025.
