I am a community journalist focusing on Education and general assignments for Latino Education magazine as managing editor. I founded Valleywood Magazine monthly in 2007 and have launched online news sites that highlight the local news, businesses, culture and national news. I did my undergraduate work at Michigan State University, Lansing Community College, Austin Community College and University

of Texas- Brownsville. I worked on the college newspaper at each school but it was LCC where I was given the duty as Editor in 2004.

Big shutout to our Lady Chiefs Varsity soccer team on their convincing victory last night against the Brownsville Porter Lady Cowgirls 👏 This 2-0 triumph brings their district record to 4 wins& 0 Losses 🏆🏆🏆🏆

•Super Sophomore- Allison Cedillo scored the 2 goals for the team's win!!!
•Outstanding performer in the middle was senior captain- Jocelyn Regalado.
•Defensive unit and goalkeeper earning the shutout were: Senior captain- Michelle Maldonado/ Brianna Montano/ Miranda Mendoza & senior captain- Nathalie Rodriguez ♥️♥️♥️
