Coming Together in Unity is a program currently being put on by the Blackhawk Firefighters Association held at Sauk Valley Community College.
Coming Together in Unity is a memorial service for those we lost during 9-11 in 2001.

Amboy High School hosted the Amboy American Legion Post 453 Poths-Lavelle for a Veterans Day ceremony.
The Legion then went to Veterans Park to perform a rifle volley.
