At the age of 16, most teenagers are starting to think about college or get a job to make a little cash. But, Abby Robbins decided she wanted to become a firefighter with Coeymans Hollow Fire Station in Albany County.

Demolition of the former church was already underway late Friday night.

Crews battled a large fire a former church in Waterford Friday night. Firefighters first arrived on scene around 6:30 p.m. Friday and when they arrived at the former church flames were shooting through the room of the old church.
