Memphis FilmWorks is a designated 501 C(3), non-profit media production company. We began our work in the community in August of 2015 and officially incorporated in March 2016. We are passionate about creating spaces that speak to the total human experience. As a strong advocate for content creation, artistic freedom, and diversity of thought, we will continue engaging various stakehold

For the past two weeks, I have had the honor and privilege of capturing special moments throughout the process of getting our State Representative Justin J. Pearson reappointed to District 86. This was an experience I will cherish forever! As I was in the midst of it all, I met other photographers on the ground and after seeing them day in and day out, a special bond was created. You often see the headlines with amazing pictures to help tell the story, but you don’t often see the faces behind the cameras that are captivating the headlines and national news wires. So, I wanted to do something special for them. I took their picture. Granted, there were several dozen other photographers on the ground, these awesome folks stayed with the Pearson camp to the very last click the day Rep Pearson gave his rousing speech. Of course, I will be sharing many moments of pictures taken. But, for one moment I wanted to shine a beautiful light on the people behind the lens.
