In five days, on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, Robinson Greer Agency (RGA) client and Street Savvy Unlimited representer Rodd Bland will bring his passion project, Rodd Bland and the Members Only Band, to Memphis in May International Festival Beale Street Music Festival on the Memphis Travel Blues Stage on Beale Street at Handy Park headlining and subsequently closing out the festival!

As a part of The Beale Streeters, Rodd Bland's father, Bobby "Blue" Bland, and Godfather, BB King, had the now-historic Beale Street bustling with blues music and every blues musician wanting to play the famed street. It's a full-circle moment, and it is only proper that an heir to the blues throne brings his father's music and the sound that made Beale a world-renowned street during the music festival that bares the street's name back to its home in epic fashion!

We know he and the Members Only Band can't wait to perform on their first festival stage and put on for their city! 〽️💙🎶

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of JACIR جاسر for winning the Audience Award for Best Narrative Film at the 2022 Lake County Film Festival hosted by the College of Lake County! Thanks to the audience in Grayslake, Illinois, for a great treat to end this momentous year! 📽🍿🥇

Today we'd like to spotlight and show some love for our friend, family, business partner, drummer, entertainer, pro wrestling enthusiast, Robinson Greer Agency (RGA) client, and Street Savvy Unlimited representer Rodd Bland for his recent accomplishments.

Thursday, May 5, 2022, was a good day for Rodd, who performed at the 43rd Blues MUSIC AWARDS, which was his first BMA performance, Rodd Bland and the Members Only Band, would later win its first BMA in the BEST EMERGING ARTIST ALBUM category for their debut live EP entitled Live on Beale Street: A Tribute to Bobby "Blue" Bland. The next day Billboard featured the win in their award show recap article, written by Paul Grein.

Rodd has been putting in work to build his brand while preserving the brand and legacy of his father. Poised for much more future success, this will not be the last you hear or see from him! So be sure to stay tuned to the journey that is Rodd Bland for all the milestones to come. PROGRESS is SUCCESS!

The July/August issue of Living Blues Magazine is only the third in their history to be dedicated to drummers. Living Blues looks at the crucial roles played by Blues drummers, including the first two female drummers they have ever covered. The ten artists featured anchor the backbeat of the genre.
