I ran across this on another fan page, I liked the message and thought I'd care. "Faith is simply acting like God is telling the truth. Faith is acting like it is so, when it's not so, in order that it might be so, simply because God said so. Faith is the decision to act in spite of the craziness of the request".

I was watching a video today made by Shaykh Hisham Kabanni. He made a point that immediately registered because I've read the Glorious Quran cover to cover many times. I had just not thought about it that way. He said the Quran is essentially two messages. One of glad tidings. And the second of warnings. Don't know why it struck me so. But it did. Like a light switch came on. I just thought I'd share.
