Is romance dead?

Dane asked Jane to the movies. She said yes and will be ready at 5pm. Dane pulled up in front of Jane house, got out and rung the doorbell. Jane’s father opened the door and asked Dane 21 questions. Jane came to the door and Dane handed her flowers. They both walked towards the car and Dane opened the car door for Jane. Dane got in the car and drove away.

This used to be the standard for a young couple’s date. Today, the dating story is completely different or is it?

Has equality, cellphones, and social media change romances in a relationship or is it just different?

Editor’s Note,

I am so excited about being a part of the Naevus Magazine family. My beauty marks reside in experiences with undiagnosed health issues, challenging labor and delivery trauma, feeling unheard by medical professionals, and often struggling to advocate for myself when seeking medical care. I believe the Naevus platform is an opportunity for me to give voice to my concerns and experiences, while also empowering others to use thier voices as well.
