I am finding that the majority of murderers are not mentally ill. They often have a combination of extreme parental neglect and sexual assaults as children and no one believes or helps them. Creating a flaming cistern of anger. (…or just the documentaries being shared in these five series attest to these facts.)

History has consistently demonstrated their downfall through concerted efforts, resilience, and human accomplishment. Reflecting on life today has given me a deeper sense of appreciation, especially when considering those whose paths have reached their end. Nevertheless, I ponder from a human standpoint whether never existing might have been a better option. Are you drained by: the persistent drive for advancement; international discord; societal fragmentation; civil war tensions; extremist views invoking divine vengeance; numerous conflicts and economic strain; household violence and abuse; and the lack of unconditional love? Biblical accounts detail divine destruction and commanded violence. Regrettably, some individuals now feel compelled to carry out similar destruction in the name of their nations. These cumulative concerns can be exhausting.

Pets are healers.
We had many dogs growing up. Two I write about in my memoir.

We weren’t creative with our names like people are today. The two dogs I’m thinking about were named Blackie and Big Red. Yeah, you guessed it. Blackie had an all black coat of hair and Big Red’s coat of hair was red.

They healed me. Probably my sblings also. When we played and laughed, of course, they were there but there’s an incident that stands out in my mind with them present. My mom would tell us to take Big Red with us to the store. He would literally push us out of the road when the cars came by us. There’s a whole story about him in the book. Dogs love like people. Blackie was Big Red‘s girlfriend. They were more like a married couple. When you saw one, you saw the other, and they were always together until she died.

I learned unconditional love from them. They are special creatures. I suggest everyone gets a dog, at least once in their lives. They teach you so much. 

I’m watching selling Sunset and they had a funeral for their dog. And I thought what a great idea. Everyone should do it. I thought about Big Red. Get the book for his special story. There’s more to say. We had a funeral for a few of our dogs but it wasn’t a formal one like on Selling Sunset. We just said a few words before we buried them on our property. I miss them and remembered them during the funeral. Cried like a baby and took a break to write. I wrote about several of our dogs in the memoir.

Dogs are magnificent. Dogs can keep you sane and can heal you. Slow done your heart rate and comfort you. Big Red comforted me when I was growing up.

One freaking fact! Extended family/ppl don’t know what goes on in your home. My monster dad was charismatic to everyone who entered our home. But when it was just us and our mom, he was insane!

You don’t tell because as a child you don’t know what insane is.

The court makes such a big deal over witnesses seeing abuse. Many stated they never saw the Menendez father do anything to them. Abusers are great at what they do. They are predatory geniuses. My father was a freaking genius. No outsider saw anything.
