I want to give a huge shout out to two groups who have supported me since my recent injury amongst a ton of other groups of course.

Ro-Lynn Delicatessen is my hands down bestest place to go for lunch. They donated a hoagie tray for our event today. The crew has supported me and their community from their start. The guys have donated food for so many events I’ve been a part of and I definitely can blame their amazing sandwiches for my drop dead gorgeous body over the years. I love them. Thank you guys for everything.

MISSION BBQ and Lisa Parks, their community ambassador, stopped by our Confronting Chaos Over Coffee event today and hooked us up and interacted with our group. But I also want to point out that Lisa and Mission came to CCMC and fed everyone on the ICU floor while I was laid up after being shot. They fed all the nurses, doctors, police officers and the families and patients on the floor in my honor and their community commitment.

I thank them all for their support and love.

Please share if you think it’s worth it. In light of todays events within our community, I want to say to everyone who has a part in this critical incident, to check yourself and your mind and feelings; check on your fellow responders over the next few days and weeks. When reality sets in to what the actual f**k happened, keep yourself in check. IT IS OK TO NOT BE OK. ITS OK TO TALK TO SOMEONE OR MANY FOLKS. So reach out. Hit me up. Hit your FOP reps up. Definately hit a Dr up. Hit your friends and family up. Talk it out of you. It works. My experience with these events is enough to write a series of books. Take what we’ve learned and use it to help stay the course. This past Monday marked 13 years since a serious incident and in about an hour marks 8 years since another. It’s taken me far too long to realize that it’s OK to TALK. So please. Check yourself. Everyday. And keep staying safe and thank you for your service.

So here’s the deal. I have defected my beloved Parkers football program. It has been a tough decision but my sons and I have moved on to LAFA in West Chester, where we now reside. But my love for the kids I’ve been coaching for the past 5 years, and the awesome coaches is still strong. So we will have a little event to help my hometown program get some new pads, equipment and whatever the club sees fit. 50/50, swag raffles, and of course some exclusive St. Byrne FFL jawns for those in attendance are happening. Spread the word. We bringing it home to Dolan’s Pub for Parker Nation on Aug 6th from 4-7p.
