I live with my husband, our little baby, and my in-laws in the same house. Every single day, my in-laws have these huge, loud fights that just never end. Yesterday, while my baby was napping, I could hear them yelling downstairs even with our door shut.
During a brief moment of silence, I calmly said, "Hey, just so you know, the baby's sleeping," and then walked away. A few minutes later, I heard my FIL cursing my name, saying something about "my house" to my MIL.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I planned a family fishing trip to reconnect, as he works so much that we hardly see him. The goal was to spend quality time together, especially since our youngest is a 5-month-old breastfeeding baby.
