Today we had a site visit with Vitro Architectural Glass and UNITED PLATE GLASS COMPANY, INC. at our Burns Scalo Real Estate Diamond Ridge project to watch the glass installation. It was the perfect day for it!

Specified Systems is currently hiring individuals with AutoCAD and drafting experience, but are also looking for individuals who would be interested to learn how to operate an industry-specific software that helps estimate, create material takes-offs, and works directly with our fabrication equipment. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and is eager to learn something new!

We had a tight schedule and a lot of coordination required for this install, but everything aligned and all the hard work paid off! We installed this custom fritted Viracon glass at the University of Pitt Bradford last week, and it looks great. Thank you to everyone who went above and beyond to make this happen!

I mage Studios in Cranberry is finished and looks amazing! We installed these Oldcastle glass entrances and used black silicone between joints to give it a nice, clean look.

Yesterday was the SSI Annual Christmas party, coordinated by our fab team. It is such a great feeling being part of a great team. The camaraderie and the caring for one another is evident, and we want to thank each and every one of them. We’re ready for 2023! Merry Christmas!

We are finishing up our 400 Beaver Street project in Sewickley with Massaro Construction Group. Here we used Kawneer Company, Inc. storefront and windows, and brake metal column covers painted to match the charcoal finish of the storefront. Glass is Vitro Architectural Glass Solarban 90.

A couple weeks ago, our team attended the Pennsylvania Builders Exchange (PBX) Annual Pig Roast! It was a great event filled with food and fun, and we need to send a special shout out to Drew Lantz, who was the only one in our company brave enough to ride the bull. He ended up in 3rd Place! Way to go Drew!
