In Summer 2023, our youth at BTBSN & BTBSN Junior Studios took charge of their creativity! 🎬✨ With access to tools, resources, and mentorship, they worked on scripting, camera angles, editing, audio, and video production—bringing their unique visions to life. Each participant submitted a project for our summer contest, showcasing their talent and growth.

It’s inspiring to see what happens when young creatives are given the space to learn, collaborate, and create. We can’t wait to see where their journeys take them next!

I came to Pittsburgh homeless, with nothing but a vision. Moving here from Arkansas was terrifying—especially after losing my mom, grandma, stepdad, and so much more. I felt like I had no choice but to leave and rebuild. Now, I have a career, a stable business, and opportunities I want to share with others. Pittsburgh has given me chance after chance, and now I no longer have to sleep in my car.

This tour isn’t just about traveling—it’s about connecting. Me connecting with me. Me connecting with my team. Me connecting with the world. And every connection has been reciprocated in ways I never imagined.

Much love to everyone who made this experience so dope! From artwork sessions to catching the best angles on camera, this was a full creative moment. 🎨🎶🎥

Shoutout to Ishara for whipping up some muffins before we hit the road, Aaleah for vibing in the blue light, and the whole squad for making it all come together. I work with some of the most talented, creative people—it’s unreal.

In this second video of our May tour series, Eszquire and Aaleah rehearse 'Heaven' by Jamie Foxx—a deeply personal song for Eszquire, as it was the first song he played for his mom before her passing. It’s a tribute to the love and wisdom she planted, and a reminder of how music connects us to those we cherish.

This practice session also shows the beautiful growth between Eszquire and Aaleah as they learn to communicate and harmonize not just musically, but as collaborators. Watching their journey unfold is what The BlackTeaBrownSuga Network is all about—supporting artists as they evolve and create.

Had a blast laughing and sharing stories with the one and only Big Sam—Sam Lothard—during one of our ReTell Therapy sessions in the café and lounge back in 2024! 🫶🏿 This brother has shown me nothing but love and support since I landed in this city, and I’m beyond grateful for his presence in my life.

Sam is not only a genuine soul but also an incredible actor who continues to light up the stage here in the city. I’ve been blessed to witness several of his shows, and let me tell you, his talent is unmatched!
