Dreissig was awarded another major recognition and marketing grant award today. Receiving it on this special Juneteenth Day and the first as a US Federal Holiday means so much to our CEO, Marc Jones, and the Dreissig Apparel team.
Thank you to the City of Syracuse, Mayor Ben Walsh and his staff, major sponsor AT&T and the Juneteenth Committee of Syracuse for voting Dreissig Apparel Inc. as one of the winners of the Ignite Juneteenth Small Business Award. This award was given to 6 black owned businesses voted on from a pool of 100 nominations. The award winners will receive a 6 month major marketing campaign that will reach a national audience. We want to thank our community for all of your support!

Juneteenth is now an official federal holiday. President Biden signed a bill to establish Juneteenth as a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. on June 17, 2021.
Today, we celebrate this step forward in history and we look forward to the continuation of progress.

This past Saturday, our CEO Marc Jones was honored to receive a prestigious award from the NAACP (Central New York), Syracuse and Onondaga Chapter: The first inaugural Muhammad Ali Entrepreneur and Sports Business Award. The award ceremony was celebrated virtually and Jones had the following to say regarding the award:

"I am so humbled to receive this amazing award named after one of the most legendary sports figures of all time, Mr. Muhammad Ali! Even though I get recognition for these awards, I would not be able to do this without the support of my wife, Carol and my kids, Julian and Olivia. I work so hard every day so they can have a comfortable life. I also would not be able to have the companies that I have without my incredible staff (team) believing in my vision and executing our plan.
