Main Street to Garfield Street between 20th Street to South Cardinal Drive and the South 21st Street cul-da-sac.

If you were without water from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at any time, then you would be included in the boil advisory.

Please plan on the boil advisory lasting until the end of next week.

The outlined area in the map below is affected by this advisory.

FROM THE CITY OF HOPKINS:
Your public water system is under a boil water advisory until further notice.
Take the following precautions:
1. Boil water vigorously for 3 minutes before use. Use only boiled
water for drinking, ice, brushing teeth, diluting fruit juices and all other food preparations or consumption. Use of bottled water may be an option.
2. Do not use ice from a household automatic icemaker or use any ice made with unboiled water from this system.
3. Disinfect dishes and other food contact surfaces by immersion for at least one minute in clean tap water that contains one teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon of water.
4. Let the water cool sufficiently before drinking.
5. Water used for hand-washing or bathing does not generally
need to be boiled. Persons with cuts or severe rashes may wish to consult their physicians.
