If you’d like to drop these items off at the WCBK studios we will be collecting to support this effort. Items can be dropped off Monday-Friday 8am-3pm. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

In the aftermath of Winter Storm Blair, Churches in Mission needs to re-stock their supply of blankets as well as coats, warm clothing and boots - especially for school-age children and men. If you have any of those items you’d be willing to donate, the Martinsville location is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

A big thank you to the team at Churches in Mission for helping ensure those seeking shelter at the Fairgrounds during the storm were warm and well fed!

The US National Weather Service Indianapolis Indiana is forecasting that areas south of I-70 will see an additional 1-3 inches of snow until it ends early this afternoon from northwest to southeast. Wind gusts to 40 mph from the NE will cause considerable blowing and drifting.

🔴 Morgan County is currently under a travel warning and residents are asked to refrain from travel. Travel is restricted to emergency management workers only. Current travel restrictions can be checked at https://www.in.gov/dhs/travel-advisory-map/

Owen County is now under an elevated "Orange - Watch” Travel Status (changed from a previously-issued “Yellow - Advisory” Travel Status) by order of Owen County Emergency Management due to the impact of current winter weather, as of 1/5/25 16:34 EST.

During a Watch, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
