Finished the second night of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). Fantastic show! I’ve seen it a bunch (I’m doing tech) and I am still laughing. Shows tomorrow night and next weekend. Go to www.twcp.net for details and tickets. You will not regret it.

Saw an ad for a Royer vacuum tube ribbon microphone. What that sounds like to me is expensive. Full disclosure - I have a Peluso ribbon (has a dent in the windscreen so I got a bit of a break) which I love. What gets me about the Royer is all the buzz words.

Had to get this while they are all still up. My three Hammonds (doing routine and not so routine maintenance while things are slow). C3 on the left, my chop (originally A-100) in the middle, and the B3 over on the right. The B3 is the "newest" - about 1968. The C3 and the chop are from the 1950's. One Leslie 122, two 142's. My happy place (and my loud place).

Well. I hated to have to do it, but there are so many robocalls these days... and also the storm last week fried my phone (and my router, and...). It has a feature called smart call bock. So if you call the land line, and your number isn't in the directory (nobody's is yet, I've only had the phone for an hour), you will be asked to give your name and press the pound key. Otherwise the call won't go through. Sorry for any inconvenience, etc., but the robocall thing is totally out of hand.

Just spent some time with my dear friend Jerry Washington and his group the Heavenly Angels reviewing mixes for their new project. The project turned out great, they liked the organ tracks, and after this week I needed some happy time. Thanks so much. Very stoked about the recording!
