Our Story
Long before creating The Long Coat Mafia Podcast The Reverend Godfather and Big Candy created The Electric Eye Podcast. It was unscripted, under promoted, and didn’t last long. Not that they didn’t know what to do. Just the world was not ready for The Electric Eye Podcast. So with time it slipped into the shadows to not so secretly create the foundation for, and pull the strings of The Long Coat Mafia Podcast.
Since that time the Reverend Godfather was challenged by Big Candy 2015 to start up podcasting again. Thing the time was right and things falling in place in June that year he founded the geek podcast with a tongue in cheek mafia style that is now known as The Long Coat Mafia Podcast. Wondering what kind of content to put up he decided on topical host based episodes, creepypastas, interviews, convention panels and coverage, social commentary, and more.
Since then the show as grown to have a small but strong following that has been slowly growing. Despite the show not being liked by seemingly select few in the community (due to going beyond the typical pop culture) and some local media outlets (due to the Reverend Godfather’s opinionated nature) it has continued to thrive.
