No matter where you listen or watch UTM basketball action this afternoon, you'll hear WUTM responsible for the broadcasts. In the second photo, Skyhawk Radio Network broadcaster and WUTM alumnus Davis Gregory photobombs the shot. We are so proud of Davis Gregory! Davis was on the WUTM staff throughout his college career at UT Martin. He got to call many, many athletic events, including the 2021 TSSAA High School Football Championship game, UTM Rodeo, and of course football, basketball, baseball, soccer and softball, both for WUTM and ESPN+. Davis was the WUTM sports director for three years and contributed mightily to the success of the station. Congratulations, Davis! “Everywhere you listen, WUTM!”

Congratulations to UT Martin lead play-by-play broadcaster Davis Gregory on being named a finalist for the 2024 Bill Schwanke Award!

The Bill Schwanke Award is given out annually to the best FCS broadcaster in the country.

The Westview Chargers finished their final game of an outstanding season yesterday! They finished their season as the Class 3A State Runner-Up with a final record of 14-1. Final score of the game was 40-21 against Alcoa.

If you are listening to the UT Martin/Montana State playoff football game this afternoon, we wanted to call your attention to the radio broadcast crew calling the game. The play-by-play announcer is Davis Gregory, the color analyst is Chuck Hammer and longtime radio broadcaster Chris Brinkley is the producer for the broadcast. ALL THREE are WUTM alumni, so once again, “Everywhere you listen, WUTM!”

We know that there are other media outlets broadcasting the Blue Cross Bowl game today between Westview and Alcoa. But no matter who you listen today (and we hope it will be WUTM), you will be hearing the call of the game from either current WUTM students or WUTM alumni. WUTM features three current station staff members, Daniel Mancusi, Christian Bryson and Katelyn Cohee, broadcasting today's game. 731 Sports will have two WUTM alumni, Jordan Taylor and Jared Davidson on their call. Thunderbolt Broadcasting will have Paul Ti**le, yet another WUTM alumnus, broadcasting the game. To borrow and modify a slogan from UT System President Randy Boyd, "Everywhere you listen, WUTM!"

Let me take a moment to brag on these three students. They are in Chattanooga today to broadcast the Blue Cross Bowl Region 3A State High School Football Championship game. From left are Christian Bryson, color analyst, Katelyn Cohee, who is working the sideline as a photographer for The Pacer, and Daniel Mancusi, play-by-play announcer. These students have called every Westview game this season, both home and away, as well as every playoff game. Since the season began in August, they have learned and grown tremendously. They have now have some experience under their belt and have improved with every broadcast. As an educator, that is all you can ask from a student. I'm very proud of these three students. WUTM pregame coverage begins at 9:45 Martin time, with the kickoff at 11:00. You can listen to these students at 90.3 FM or online at www.wutmradio.com.
