The bad news is there are a lot of “DJ’s” with websites that only tell part of the story. In many cases you have no idea who will actually show up to your reception or if they have any experience. There is also a big difference in reception entertainment and the “DJ” at the corner bar on saturdays working for a little “drinking money”.

Just a reminder that Real Music is owned and operated by Bob Halle. We run a completely different show than a DJ in Wausau by the name of Bob Holl. Be sure you ask questions so you know exactly who you are booking. We run a large show with lighting, trussing, and high end audio. We are also highly interactive with your guests beyond announcing the grand march. The “other Bob” is very professional but our styles and shows are completely different so please be certain to ask questions. Several times per year I end up getting phone calls on Sunday mornings demanding to know why I sent someone else to their reception. After they calm down and they review their contract they realize they booked the wrong person. We always prefer a phone call or meeting so we can be sure we are the right fit for your event! This happened just last week and by sheer coincidence the bride/groom found they booked the wrong person. Luckily it was before their reception and we just happened to have their date open!!!

Congratulations to all you newly engaged couples! If you are looking to plan a wedding in 2021 make sure you contact your preferred entertainment, locations, photographer, florist as soon as you set a date! Many 2020 receptions were forced to postpone or chose to move their dates so 2021 dates are limited and going fast! Some couples are opting to place it safe and booking into 2022, 2023, and even 2024! We are always happy to assist with your planning so please don’t hesitate to call, text, message, or email!
