Dante is an 8-year-old neutered cat who is ready to find his forever home! He’s up to date on all his vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and is the sweetest, most affectionate boy you’ll ever meet. At 17 pounds, he’s a bit on the hefty side, but with a little help from a healthy diet, he’ll be back to his ideal weight of 12 pounds in no time!

Dante loves attention and is a big love bug – he’ll happily curl up next to you for some quality snuggles. While he hasn’t been around dogs or other cats, his calm and friendly nature suggests he would do well with them.

DONATE AT STAR MARKET MARSHFIELD

Star Market is collecting donations of pet food, cat litter and cleaning supplies on behalf of the Marshfield Animal Shelter for the entire month of February. The donation box is at the entrance by the Drive Up and Go area.

We feed Fancy Feast cat food, Pedigree dog food (we have no dogs at the shelter right now), clumping and non-clumping cat litter, Swiffer Wet Jet and Power Mop supplies, 30 gallon and tall kitchen trash bags, paper towels, He Laundry detergent, bleach etc.

All donations are appreciated. Thank you!

PRESS RELEASE :
There will be a public meeting at the Select Board Chamber in Marshfield Town Hall on January 23, 2025 at 6:30 PM to discuss the second phase of beach nourishment for a portion of Bay Avenue in Green Harbor. This will be in the same area in Marshfield that received nourishment last year. Beach nourishment is only being provided in Marshfield this year.
Leslie Fields from Woods Hole Group, the Town Planner and representatives from the DPW and Police Department will be available to answer questions on the project.

It is with great sadness we say good bye to our longtime friend and fellow Veteran, Larry Whalen. Larry was our Asst Veterans Agent through the years until 2013. He continued to volunteer in our Veteran’s office and was a proud member of the Korean War Veterans Association.
