🙌 GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE NOW LIVE! 🙌

The Marshfield Area Community Foundation (MACF) is pleased to announce the annual community grantmaking round. Each year the MACF makes grants to area nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life in our community.

Organizations can request up to $2,500.00. 💰

Grant applications for the 2024 period open on Monday July 15th and are due by 11:45 p.m. on Sunday July 28th, 2024. Grants are available for 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, schools, faith-based organizations and governmental entities in the Marshfield, Elkland, Niangua, Northview, Conway, Fair Grove, and surrounding areas.

Applicants will be required to make a short presentation to the selection committee prior to grant recipients being selected. Date and time for this are to be announced.

✨Thank you to Biz 417 for the recognition as one of 2024’s 10 for the Next 10! ✨

This acknowledgement isn’t taken lightly. Webster County is a kind of community that once you get tied in, you just can’t forget. I think that was evident at the 4th of July festivities yesterday!

We absolutely have the best people anywhere in the world, right here in our back yard. I can’t wait to see how relationships are built and our community is molded to be even better by all of YOU in the next 10 years!

Last year I had so much fun in my hometown during the 4th celebrations but I felt like we were missing three things:

1- A Market Animal Show and Sale
2- A Rodeo Queen Contest
3- A little Miss and Mr Firecracker Contest

Thanks to some awesome people I know this year is going to be the best 4th of July in a while 💜💜

Don’t ever let someone tell you you can’t make a difference. 😊

For decades the community in Webster County enjoyed the pageantry and friendly competition of the Little Miss and Mister Firecracker contest. For years, the parade festivities on the 4th of July have been without the fan-favorite contest, which highlights the youth of Webster County’s patriotism.
