My good friend Jon, NJ Slot Guy is fighting an uphill battle as you’re reading this. He was admitted to the hospital on 1/17/25 stating he had severe head pain and couldn’t keep his eyes open at an event in Delaware. After days of not knowing what he had, they diagnosed him with a Cerebral Spinal Fluid Leak with Intracranial Hypertension. They said it could have happened from a simple cough. Jon had immediate surgery to repair the problem. The issue is they compared the success of this procedure as to throwing a dart and needing to hit the Bullseye. Unfortunately they missed. He has been in and out of the hospital since and today they found that he has a blood clot in his sinus area. They said he is lucky they caught this or he would not be with us for much longer.

The frustrating part is Jon has to go to Duke University to get another surgery for his spine, but they are booking 6-8 months out. He is stuck. He cannot work, he cannot drive, he cannot fly, he cannot focus and keep his eyes open for very long.

Against Jon’s wishes, a group of his close friends started this Go Fund Me page to help his family. His family has health insurance, but we are unsure what will be covered as they are already starting to deny claims. This is a small token of our appreciation for his friendship.
