oo was published and copyrighted posthumously for Mr. In his honor the company kicked off with a writing scholarship for RHAM students. These are available in various mediums including, handmade paperbacks, ebooks, and the unique Button Board Book format for children. You can purchase the company’s products through the Yellow Girl Press website. In addition, look for the company’s table at select craft fairs in the region throughout the year. In addition to book publishing, the company is offering community programs for select titles as a means to extend reader enjoyment. About Kathleen Sands, Owner
Kathleen Sands has a BA in History with a concentration in secondary education, an MA in Geography, and a Masters of Library Science. She has been a librarian since 2005 and has created and executed a variety of community programs during this time. The East Hampton-Portland Patch newspaper featured her youth program on the Civil War in its April 2011 edition. Kathleen has also been writing for several years. Her credits include the 2003 Phi Alpha Theta/World History Association Prize for best paper and her article on the history of biofuels will be featured in the forthcoming Wiley and Sons Encyclopedia of Energy.
