Automatic sports timing was invented 40 years ago by the founders of MYLAPS. We develop products and services for measuring, publishing and analyzing racers’ and athletes’ training and race results. Back in 1982 we invented automatic sports timing. Thousands of events that previously used stopwatches and thumbs to keep track of results now rely on MYLAPS technology. We offer a wide range of timing
systems. They have been developed to suit the needs of professional timers, event organizers, track and club owners and federations, as well as individual racers and athletes. Our systems support registration, identify individual racers and athletes, determine their start, finish and intermediate times, collect performance data, calculate rankings and publish the results. Our products enhance the experience for all sports categories, from professional to amateur level, from small to high density events. The IRONMAN Desaru Coast Malaysia event in May attracted over 1,250 participants from 49 countries. From IRONMAN 70.3 to family-friendly options such as 5150, SPRINT, and IRONKIDS, there was a race for everyone to enjoy. SportSplits Malaysia utilized MYLAPS ProChip technology to time all the races at the event.

It was a busy weekend for our partner Runners Unite, timing two big events in Malaysia with MYLAPS BibTag technology. ⚡
The Redline Fitness Games is a race through 12 functional fitness workout stations with 3 categories - Singles, Doubles & Team Relay, each with multiple divisions. A total of 3,500 participants took part in the event, which was timed by our partner Runners Unite using 11 BibTag decoders. 🏁
Asia Triathlon Junior Cup 2024 took place in Kampar, Malaysia and was timed with BibTag technology. The event included a sprint and a super sprint race for junior triathletes. 🏊♀️🚵🏃♂️

The X2 LED Panels display the latest flagging status to racers, while the X2 BaseLinks help the race control room determine each vehicle's exact location on the track.
Drivers can see the latest flagging status easily on the track, for a smooth and safe on-track experience.

Check out the latest installation of X2 Race Control at Spa Naoiri in Japan. Now equipped with X2 Light Panels, X2 RaceLink Clubs, Race Control Manager software, and the CCTV add-on, this 1.43km track has stepped up it's race control game. 🏍️
The ultra-bright Light Panels provide crucial warnings to drivers, displaying flag signals along the circuit, ensuring they stay informed in dangerous situations. 🟩
With the X2 RaceLink Club, live tracking of all vehicles is now possible, along with integrated LED arrays for on-board flag signals, enhancing driver awareness and safety.
The CCTV system seamlessly correlates the X2 RaceLink’s location with individual camera views. In case of an incident, it automatically switches to the camera providing the clearest view, improving response time and ensuring the safety of all involved. 🎥

Circuit Park Berghem BV, a leading outdoor karting track in the Netherlands, has taken a major step in improving on-track safety and operational oversight by installing the advanced MYLAPS X2 Race Control system with digital LED flag panels.
The circuit has installed MYLAPS LED panels, starting lights, penalty panels, and an LED info panel. These ultra-bright, digital LED panels are strategically positioned around the circuit and replace the current flagging stations.

The Belgrade Banjaluka covered 610km across Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. The event was timed with ProChip by our Croatian partners Chrono Timing and Štoperica Timing. The exciting event had 175 cyclists taking part, and 150,000 spectators on the road. 🚵

Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid took place over the weekend. With a record-breaking 40,000 participants across the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K distances! 🏃♀️🎶

The 16th edition of the Santiago Marathon took place on Sunday, featuring a 42-kilometer course winding through the streets of Chile's capital city. This year, the race was timed by our new partner TAGID using MYLAPS BibTag technology for the first time. 🏃♀️
With an impressive turnout of 29,695 runners, the Santiago Marathon stands as the largest race in the region. For this event, TAGID utilized 10 BibTag Smart Decoders and 10 BibTag Portable Decoders at 8 intermediary timing points to ensure optimal read rates. 🏁
