Some of the STAR Turbine team finished out the summer on the golf course for a great cause. The Center for Adoption Support and Education had 144 golfers that supported their 22nd Annual Charity Golf Outing at Whiskey Creek Golf Club. STAR is a proud supporter of charities such as this one that will help adoptive, foster and kinship families receive mental healthcare and support they need to heal and thrive.

STAR Turbine, Inc. invested $1 million into the development of its new facility on West Fairground Street in Marion and added 19 new jobs.

STAR Turbine, a leader in high-precision manufacturing and field installation for high-capacity steam and gas turbines, announced plans to expand in the Columbus Region, investing more than $1 million in machinery and equipment and creating 19 full-time jobs.

STAR Turbine was a proud sponsor of the C.A.S.E. at Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Ijamsville, MD last Friday. It was a perfect day for golf! We had 165 golfers and raised $137,000.

Our CEO, Colleen Cordova, sits on the board of this amazingly impactful organization.

C.A.S.E. provides critical operating support to meet the mental health needs of adoptive, foster, and kinship families in the community. In 2021, C.A.S.E. served nearly 1,500 individuals through therapy and case management services and reached nearly 4,000 more across the country through workshops and webinars.

Many families receive free services through government grants. The donations they receive, cover the cost of therapy for families who don’t qualify and can’t afford therapy. They also provide financial assistance to 34 clients and family members and their goal is to reach even more people each year.
