GAME DAY!!!

The Marion Lady Wildcats (0-1) look to even their record when they open their home basketball season at Wilson Gym in Marion against the Benton Rangerettes (0-1). The JV start time is at 11 a.m., with the varsity to follow. Our coverage on the Legendary WGGH starts at approximately 12:15 as Justin Walker and Tim Petrowich have the call.

IT'S BIG GAME DAY!!!!

The Johnston City Indians (11-1) host the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (11-1) in the IHSA Class 2A Football semifinal at Ralph Davison Field. Listen to the game live on the Legendary WGGH today with Mat Cannon and Sam Harris on the call. We also plan to have special bonus coverage with sideline reports from Tim Petrowich and Justin Walker.

You can hear the game at AM 1150, FM 98.1, online at WGGH.net and the WGGH Mobile App, as well as on Network1Sports (there will be a link in the comments).

Pre-game coverage starts at 3 p.m. with the opening kickoff at 3:30.

The Legendary WGGH is looking for at least one play-by-play announcer to compliment our staff and help with broadcasts of Johnston City Indians sports. The candidate must be reliable, be willing to work evenings and weekends and have a little bit of knowledge with computers. An interest in sales is a bonus but is not required.

Congratulations to Marion’s Gabby Greer (14:50.4) and Raphy Greer (14:50). for their 16th and 17th place finish in the Class 2A state Cross Country meet. Both are all-staters.
