Here is an original Celtic-inspired poem about two star-crossed lovers trying to make their relationship work:

Emerald Skies and Heather Sighed

Upon the moors they first did meet,
His eyes of blue, her hair of peat.
A spark ignited, hearts did leap,
As they their fated tryst did keep.

Through winding glens and ancient woods,
They sought to build their life anew.
With honest toil and loving care,
A cottage home they did prepare.

But cruel fate had other plans,
Their families locked in age-old clans.
Their love, a crime, they dared not tell,
Lest ancient feuds be roused from hell.

Yet still they tried, with all their might,
To steal away in pale moonlight.
To live as one, beyond the veil,
Where warring clansmen could not trail.

Alas, their luck could not prevail,
Their secret found, their hope did fail.
In sorrow's grasp, they met their end -
Two souls in death, forever bonded.

Now, in the sky, their stars do shine,
A testament to love divine.
