This afternoon's wedding ceremony and reception was a real scorcher. Hello fall where are you? The dance floor was short-lived due to our running out of time and the fact it was extremely hot in the venue. I have now been to a sauna and it cost me nothing and I now weigh 150 lb. Congratulations again to the new Mr and Mrs Cover and may they have many years of wedded bliss. Since the bride is currently attending OSU I thought it was appropriate that we play "Hang On Sloopy" to end the night.

Here is this past weekend's wedding reception. It happened at Pleasant Hill Farms South of Mansfield Ohio. The vibe was a family get together/reunion due to the fact that the newlywed couple had relocated down to Florida and was back up in their hometown to celebrate their wedding with their friends and family. Everybody had a great time and enjoyed the musical mood created based on the bride and grooms musical wishes. I got kudos from the owner of the venue and guests that my music was at a appropriate loudness level for the event without shaking the barn to pieces. That's what you get with me expert knowledge of event situations. Congratulations again to the new Mr and Mrs Kindred. I appreciate being able to make your day wonderful!

Here are a few pictures from the first night of karaoke at the Kin & Kilt in Marion Ohio. We did not have a large quantity of singers but we had some quality singers for tonight. Stop by in a couple of weeks and check it out for yourself. If you like it let them know and it could become long-term. I am open to more business opportunities in this vein. Here is my latest event I had the honor of providing MC/DJ services for. It involved a road trip along with a ferry ride to Kelleys Island. The event was a blast and they went beyond their planned ending. Small world that this road trip wedding to a Lake Erie island was for people from my hometown county of Marion Ohio. Even the town mayor was involved in the day. Congrats again to the newlyweds and may you have a lifetime of wedded bliss!

Great wedding this past weekend. The rain tried to intrude but the owners and guest wouldn't let that happen. Kudos to the Pine Acres Event Center for staying on top of things. The music was hopping til the venues closing time. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. and may they have a lifetime of wedded bliss. Thanks again to Pine Acres Event Center for having such a well run venue!

Tuesday is kids day at the Richland county fair. First 500 kids 18 and under will get their ride wristband for free. This promo is from noon to 4 pm. Also all the week long entertainment in the grandstands is free with your paid admission to the fair.

It never hurts to reach out with your DJ needs last minute. I sometimes have a free day to remedy your situation. Already booking for the next 2 years and may be able to fit you in this year. Just added a road trip to Kelleys Island on short notice. Now i got to get a life vest and a boat load of pool noodles for me and my car. Sure hope this isn't the dreaded 3 hour tour.

Yesterday's event was providing music before and during the Shelby Bicycle Days firework show. I mixed in 12 songs during the show. A large crowd was on hand for the show. I enjoyed the crowd doing the bum bum bum to Sweet Caroline. Thanks to everyone that came out. It was a blast!

Just a few pictures of yesterday's events. Started out with a park rededication in Mansfield where the Coca-Cola company put a new service on the basketball court. Here is the setup for sound at the park along with the ribbon cutting. The last picture is the tail end of the teardown from providing sound for the music group Sorelle that performed at the Shelby Bicycle Days festival. Busy day setting up at 7:30 a.m. at the park and wrapping up with tear down complete at 11:30 pm.

Yesterday's event was at the other end of the spectrum from what I normally do. Instead of the first day of their marriage this is 50 years later for Mr and Mrs Ernsberger. I played music from the time period of their marriage which was 1974. Everyone enjoyed the music as did I. Here are a few pictures of the setup and some of the party atmosphere we had going clear in through cleanup. We had many people making passionate speeches and had no dry eyes at the party. Sometimes a celebration can bring out a little bit of the water works. Congratulations again to Mr and Mrs Ernsberger on 50 years of wedded bliss!
