Two daily newspapers, the Marinette Eagle-Star and the Menominee Herald-Leader, merged in 1995 to create the EagleHerald. Both of the previous daily newspapers were in existence for more than 100 years, each bringing a unique view of local, regional, state and national news. As a result, our blended news staff is motivated to provide balanced coverage of government, business, industry and community news in two large, rural counties in two different states.
