We are thrilled to share Star Trek x Kid Cudi: Mirror Mayhem with you!
Rouge teamed up with Star Trek, Kid Cudi, Atlas Creative, and Paramount to create something incredible in the world of Fortnite.
Our mission was to make Kid Cudi and the iconic Star Trek universe come to life in the world of Fortnite. That started with scanning Kid Cudi to lay the foundation to create a stylized Fortnite character that captured his essence. We then captured Kid Cudi's incredible performance and set, ensuring that every move, gesture, and emotion was faithfully translated into the virtual world. Our talented team then processed the data and brought his performance to life through animation.
We want to express our gratitude to everyone involved, including Atlas Creative, Paramount, and Kid Cudi, for their trust and support.

Want to be a part of the Rouge Mocap team?

At Rouge, we strive to be a company that focuses on opportunities of growth, with expanding knowledge of industry-standard hardware and software. All while providing a space for collaboration and creativity. We at Rouge Mocap are looking for like-minded individuals who have these core principles to join our motion capture department as a Motion Capture Technician.

The main and routine functions of the Motion Capture Technician are to:

-Assist team on capture projects (ie. system calibration, markering talent/props/sets, capturing, post-shoot duties, etc.);
-Adjusting witness cameras during production
-Prep/Scout layouts for upcoming capture projects
-Assist with set-build outs on stage
-Ensure high-quality data capture/data quality assurance during shoots;
-Track and retarget motion capture data;
-Maintain, install and repair studio equipment;
-Re-aiming cameras and testing new set-ups;
-Contribute to the continued improvement of the mocap production process;
-Ensure pipeline efficiency;
-Participate in improving data delivery pipeline;
-Stay current with motion capture practices;
-Pipeline management;
-File management.
-Maintaining a safe and clean production facility.
