Although the chopper is not sharpened to the point a knife would be it can be used on soft vegetables and fruit as a starter in letting them help in the kitchen with adult supervision.
Wood used is White oak.

Flash back to a few months ago my wife suggested I grab this ugly offcut from a live edge slab stack that was likely gonna get trashed. Just to see what I could do with it.
Turned out gorgeous with a little TLC and also our first charcuterie boards we've kept. I nicknamed this board the ugly duckling from the start and loved how it ended.
