As the wife of an Army Veteran, my heart is weighing extremely heavy with the events that have transpired recently.
Whether you are against the current president, supportive of him, or couldn’t care less… the fact of the matter that multiple service members have recently lost their lives, and countless other innocent lives will be taken, I cannot imagine that those facts can sit in your minds without empathy and compassion.
For some, those emotions are also accompanied by others: rage, confusion, frustration, heartbreak, just to name a few… I know it sure does for me.
I cannot begin to try to imagine how the family members of those who have fallen must feel. To be honest, I don’t even want to. It hurts too much.
I just know that I don’t want them to feel forgotten. I don’t want them to feel like another name, another folded flag, another statistic. Right now, I don’t know what I should do to help, but I know that at this very moment, I can do this very simple act of with the rest of our Nation.
To the parent(s), the spouse, the child(ten), the friends and loved ones of a fallen soldier:
I see you. I stand with you. I honor you and your service member.
May they all rest in love.

I absolutely love reading!
Growing up, I was obsessed with mystery stories, Harry Potter, & the Twilight series 🙈
As an adult, I am ALL ABOUT that self development!
I want to break cycles, become my best self for my family and my Heavenly Father, & I want to continue growing and learning… and I’ve found my favorite way to do that is through books and podcasts!
I’m on my 2nd pass through High Performance Habit.
Girl Code and Big Magic are audiobooks and I’ve listened to both NUMEROUS times! They’re so good!!!
My husband was in the army for 9 years, so the 5 Love Languages Military Edition will always have a special place in my heart.
