The Quadrantids meteor shower will have its most vibrant display Thursday night into early Friday morning, with meteors emanating from the northeast in the direction of the Big Dipper. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected for our region, and it should become cloudier overnight. The best chances for clearer skies will be farther north and west.
