Cross-country runners from Marble Falls and Burnet high schools held their own among the top runners at the state meet, Nov. 1, in Round Rock.

Marble Falls was represented by runners Tyler Hamblin (senior) and Reese Massey (freshman). Hamblin placed fourth, the highest finish among local athletes, and Massey finished 24 in the girls' two-mile.

The Burnet cross-country team finished seventh.
