Hello everyone!!! Now as you know this used to be my review page, however my obsession has taken a turn and I am now doing unboxings and making miniatures as well as posting mini items that I find. I'm just starting out so there's not anything on the page right now but soon you'll see me opening miniverse and putting them together. Today I will be reviewing a very special holiday game! I have played all of Enigma Fellowship's monthly subscription games and loved every one of them, so when I found out they were coming out with a holiday game I was beyond excited. I can't wait to share this and to write this review, so here is goes.

GAME I AM REVIEWING: The Magical Tale

AGE RANGE: The wonderful thing about The Magical Tale is that it is truly a game you can play with all ages. Young children will love listening to the truly magical and beautiful story of Theo the dragon. Its a really neat story and when I played this my friends 4 year old daughter loved hearing the story. The puzzles were so much fun and my 12 almost 13 year old even enjoyed playing. So I would say this game is good for all ages.

I had so much fun playing this game and I actually played it twice! The first time I played it was actually by myself and I had a blast! I enjoyed the story so much and it was very creative and fun. I also really liked the way the game was set up with all the hints and puzzles being right there within the book. I didn't need to go on the computer at all. However, they do give you the option of going onto a website for more detailed hints which I thought was a great idea. The game itself is absolutely beautiful. You open the wooden cover book and inside there is the story of Theo. There are gorgeous illustrations and its very well made and durable. Each time you come to a puzzle within the story there is an envelope that opens up within the page with hints and the puzzle itself as well as the solution. The hints and solution are covered giving you the option to just look at one hint if you want or all of them. I was so impressed with this game and so I wanted to play it again and get the opinion of my mom, my 12 year old son, my friend, and her 4 year old daughter Both of the kids really enjoyed the story with my my 12 year old saying "it was cool" when asked what he thought of the story. My mom and friend also both really loved the story and my mom who LOVES dragons insisted that we keep the game at her house and play it each year at Christmas from now on. The Magical Tale was definitely a hit all around with a range of ages.
THE PUZZLES: I can honestly say hands down, Enigma Fellowship always hits it out of the park with the vast range of types of puzzles they incorporate in their games. Every single time I play one of their games I learn different puzzle techniques and I feel like its always exciting to see what they have in store each time they put out a game. The Magical Tale is no different. Everyone had so much fun with every single puzzle! Some were harder than others and I really liked the flow of the game a lot. I think my favorite puzzle probably had to do with a rainbow but that is all I am going to say so that i don"t spoil anything. My 12 year old was very helpful with a lot of the puzzles and still there were some that were a little too challenging for him but just right for the adults in the group.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I am a huge fan of Enigma Fellowship. The creators are amazing people who are so kind, helpful, and friendly. The games are always a blast and I am never disappointed when I sit down to play one of their games. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend The Magical Tale to anyone who loves a good story and enjoys puzzles and having fun. I can't wait to play this again every Christmas as it is now a family tradition that i am so excited to say I introduced to my family.

THE GAME: I really had alot of fun with Bloodhound Mysteries's newest case, Death On The Delilah. I have played all of their games and I found this one to be one of my favorites! there were so many cool features and the backstory was really well written. I was intrigued and entertained the whole time. While playing Death On The Delilah, I was at the edge of my seat and not wanting to stop playing the game for a break whatsoever. Overall, I thought the story was very interesting and the mystery kept you guessing.

THE PUZZLES: There was a really nice assortment of types of puzzles in Death on the Delilah. I had fun solving each one and really enjoyed the Ah Ha moments throughout. I found there was a really nice glow to the puzzles as well and they tied into the story nicely. I also really like that there were some puzzles that were easier and some that were pretty challenging. overall, I really had a great time playing Bloodhound Mysteries latest game and as usual it did not disappoint. I give Death on the Delilah an 8 out of 10!

THE GAME: I was SO excited when I heard about The Enigma Fellowship's newest game Monsters In The Wild. This months game has a guest appearance by S.O.U.P. (The Society for the Observation of Unknown Phenomenon) by Crack A Nut Mysteries. I have also played two of Crack A Nut Mysteries games including S.O.U.P so I was thrilled to find out all about this game and to play it. I was not at all disappointed this month. Out of all of Enigma Fellowship's games this one ties as my absolute favorite along with Scattered Cards. I cant say enough about how good this game is. It taught me so much and I had a blast the whole time I was playing. There were no dull moments whatsoever. The storyline was amazing. The overarching story continued on with Monsters In The Wild in a really unexpected and neat way. Having S.O.U.P. be featured in the game was a really neat touch and I'm hoping to see other collaborations in the future since they did such an amazing job this time. I don't often replay this genre of games but I played this twice already and had just as much fun the second time around and even picked up on things I didn't catch the first time I played it. THE PUZZLES: Once again I was delighted to see how many different puzzles and types of puzzles Enigma Fellowship incorporated into Monsters In The Wild. I had so much fun playing this game and its puzzles. In this game, much like their past games you learn about a game within the game! I had played something similar to the game featured in Monsters In The Wild and really enjoyed learning how to play this new game that I had never heard of. Also I found myself researching things I found out and learned about in Monsters In The Wild and really had fun doing it. I honestly cannot put into words how amazing Monsters In The Wild was. I think its a very important game and the things I learned are very important. I would definitely say this game could easily be played in a classroom setting and I will be playing Monsters In The Wild again with my youngest son in the future. I loved Monsters In The Wild, the puzzles, the things I learned, and the overall story. I highly recommend Monsters In The Wild, Enigma Fellowships games as a whole and can't wait to see what happens in next months game!

THE GAME: Out of all of Enigma Fellowship's games, The Submerged Sentinel was definitely the hardest. This is not a bad thing, in fact I loved the challenge and really enjoyed playing it. The storyline is amazing and kept me very entertained. The story also flowed nicely and made me keep wanting to find out more. The ending was so cool! I did not at all expect it to end the way it did and with this game you begin to see the overarching storyline. I don't want to give too much away but I am definitely in for the long haul, I HAVE to find out where the story goes next! The Submerged Sentinel's description on the Enigma Fellowship website is:

THE PUZZLES: The Enigma Fellowship never fails to amaze me with the number and variety of puzzles they pack into each game. I had so much fun with every single puzzle that I did in this game. I did have to use hints several different times but I also prefer to use the hint system when playing games because I'm always scared I'm going to miss out on something. I was happy to see that again, like in their other games, The Enigma Fellowship incorporated puzzles I had never come across before and I am very interested to see what kinds of puzzles they continue to come up with in the future. As usual with The Enigma Fellowship's games I learned new things and as much as I love solving mysteries and playing games in this genre, I can't resist a game where I learn something. I love that all of the games this company makes can be used to engage others in learning while having fun. Its an awesome asset to a game and I do wish this would be something that happened more often in games like these.
I really enjoyed the online components of the game as well and it made the experience that much more authentic. It made me feel like I was actually tying to find these people and solve the issues presented in the game. Overall, I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing games, learning, and mystery solving. I cannot wait to see what adventure unfolds next!

REVIEW:
I had such a blast playing Conundrum Case Files' game The Pastor's Wife! The storyline is very interesting and I found this game to be quite a bit different than the other game I have played by this company( Murder At The Festival) but I enjoyed it just as much. This time the game is still mystery but there is an escape room element to it that was a lot of fun. There were also an absolute ton of puzzles which was awesome. I will go more in detail in the puzzles section of this review but the puzzles certainly didn't disappoint. At times I actually felt like I was really being timed and had to hurry up and figure out the code to unlock the bag with more information inside of it. The Pastor's Wife was a really neat experience and I hope that we will see more escape room type mysteries again in future games by Conundrum Case Files.

The pastors’ wife has been abducted and her captors have given her husband just 24 hours to find a location and code that is hidden in a locked pouch inside the closet. I found the story in this game to be very interesting and the game kept me on my toes. I wanted to dig deeper and find out more about what was going on and I actually played this game from beginning to end in one long session. I just was having way to much fun to put it down! In all the game took me almost 3 hours to complete. Some of the picture puzzles were really challenging but in a very good way and I feel like that is a really nice amount of time for game play for the price of the game.
THE PUZZLES: This game packed in the puzzles BIG TIME! I was absolutely overjoyed with the variety and the types of puzzles that were in this game. There were a few that were pretty easy but most of them were just right.. not too hard and not too easy. I felt that the puzzles intertwined nicely with the incoming evidence that you find along the way and I also felt that for the most part the puzzles made sense in the way that they complimented the story. I didn't feel like there were just random puzzles thrown in just for filler but that each puzzle had a definite purpose.
I know I have said this before in my past review of Conundrum Case Files but I just wanted to reiterate this information again. I think good customer service is very important and this quality made me enjoy this game as well as the company itself even more. You can also tell how much these games mean to the creator and that she really works hard to make sure her games are at their very best and that she is keeping her customers happy.
I would HIGHLY recommend The Pastor's Wife by Conundrum Case Files. If you enjoy puzzles with a side of mystery this game will most definitely not let you down.

So I came across Conundrum Case Files while searching Amazon for mystery solving games. As soon as I scrolled and saw Conundrum Case Files it caught my eye. I checked it out and put it on my Wishlist. I wanted it really badly but wasn't able to get it at the time. Then literally a few days later a friend of mine mentioned this company and again I was intrigued so I went ahead and purchased the game. I am SO glad that I did. I loved Murder At the Festival. Everything about it was really interesting and the story kept me on my toes from start to finish. I did not want to even stop playing for breaks! There were a lot of fun twists and turns and there was so much to do! There was also a ton of evidence to look through and I really felt like I was a detective working a case. From fingerprinting to witness statements to reports and pictures it had it all. The ending was really good and I was surprised to find out what had actually happened to the victim.

I also felt that the mystery was very creative and extremely well written. You definitely get to know all the characters and their personalities and I really liked that about Murder At the Festival.
THE PUZZLES: There were a few puzzles in Murder At the Festival and I had fun breaking the cyphers and figuring everything out. This game doesn't have a ton of puzzles but the puzzles were enough to keep me interested and having fun. The game took me about 2 hours to play and I really liked that it didn't take me a super long time to play it. Murder At the Festival also has a lot to read which I really enjoyed as well. Another thing to note is that customer service is phenomenal. Christine responds very quickly and is always happy to help if you have any questions whatsoever.
I think good customer service is very important and this quality made me enjoy this game as well as the company itself even more. You can also tell how much these games mean to the creator and that she really works hard to make sure her games are at their very best and that she is keeping her customers happy.
I would HIGHLY recommend Murder At the Festival by Conundrum Case Files. There is a lot of mystery and a lot of fun to be had by this game.

REVIEW:
I have done 3 other cases by Bloodhound Mysteries and Musgrave Manor was just as enjoyable as all their other games. This is Bloodhound Mysteries newest case and it was a very fun case that had supernatural elements that were very interesting. I had so much fun with Musgrave Manor and really enjoyed learning about the history of the house and about the family. I really liked the ending and thought the entire experience flowed really well. As usual the online elements of the case were a lot of fun and there was something new that I was able to do with this case that was really cool.
THE STORY: This is the description directly from the Bloodhound Mysteries ETSY page: A young woman inherits an old home rumored to house a secret treasure, hidden for generations. But does Musgrave Manor hold something darker and more sinister than treasure? Will you be the one to uncover its secrets and bring the truth to light?
This story was so interesting as I said previously and had me hooked from the start. My mind kept trying to figure out what was coming next and it kept me at the edge of my seat. I find the subject of mysteries interesting already but when you add in a possible ghost it takes my interest to a whole new level. There were some really neat moments throughout the game and you learn a lot of history about the house and the family. I really hope that in the future Bloodhound Mysteries will do more games like this.
THE PUZZLES: There were several puzzles in Musgrave Manor that varied in style and difficulty. I like that Bloodhound Mysteries has such a great scale of different puzzles in their games. I really like to play games like this. Some companies have only two or three different types of puzzles or cyphers and I feel that Bloodhound does a great job with variety. I did use the hint system and they also do a really great job with that aspect. The hints are tiered and go from a gentle nudge and each hint gets closer to the solution. I feel like Bloodhound Mysteries also is very quick to respond to any questions people have and if you need a little extra help they are more than happy to help you. This is also important to me when playing games because you should be able to reach out to creators and ask questions and get prompt and kind responses. The owners of these games are so friendly and really appreciate their customers which is really awesome.
I would HIGHLY recommend Musgrave Manor from Bloodhound Mysteries to anyone who enjoys crime solving, mysteries, maybe a little bit of the supernatural and puzzles. The story was interesting and the puzzles were amazing.

REVIEW:
I really liked The Morgan File, I found it very interesting and it kept my mind working. I really liked that there were different sections that had to be done in the book before you could move on. I also really liked the way the book was done. The pictures were amazing and kept everything tied together. Every picture was important and held secrets to unlock to get the full story. In the back of the book they have separated sections for each hint tier which was really nice and helped avoid seeing hints beyond the level you were looking for. A really nice feature that I particularly liked was that the solutions section of the book was lightly coded so you wouldn't accidently see further solutions when looking for the section you were looking for and by doing this an added bonus puzzle was made.

I really, really liked the story in The Morgan Files. It kept me wanting more the whole time I was doing the book and solving the puzzles. I was hungry for another piece of the story and honestly it was hard to put the book down at times. I had never done a puzzle book like this before and I think I definitely started with the right one. I was fascinated by all the twists and turns and surprises along the way and was never disappointed. I had an absolute blast with this book.

THE PUZZLES:
I found the puzzles to be very fun! There was a large variety of different types of puzzles and I enjoyed each one. There was a good variety of difficulty to the puzzles but the hints did a great job of helping me when I felt confused or needed a little push in the right direction. I really liked the change of scenery that a puzzle book gives you. Don't get me wrong I still love my mystery and escape games but The Morgan File has started me on a whole additional path. I am now just as obsessed with puzzle, mystery, and escape type books as I am with the box games. I am looking forward to the authors next book which he is currently working on now. Stay tuned....
