The House has Arrived in Mapleton!

Quick Recap: Mapleton Housing and Community Improvement, a branch of MCDC (Mapleton Community Development Corporation) purchased a property on 8th Street in Mapleton in December of 2022. The group started working with Homes for Iowa in January of 2024.� According to the Homes for Iowa website: Homes for Iowa has been working to train offenders, reduce recidivism (reincarceration) and benefit Iowans since 2019. Mapleton Housing has also worked with SIMPCO (Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council) to bring this house to Mapleton.
